About Jacob (4th Year)
Jacob Gourley joined the Wildcat coaching staff in 2016 as a coach for the Junior Cats. He is passionate about athletic competition, and trains the boys to increase their potential. He enjoys working with youth and seeing them reach milestones. Junior High is a critical stage where players refine skills and increase their basketball IQ. This age is preparatory for competition at the JV and Varsity level. At the 12U level, he is focused on teaching fundamentals and helping the youth enjoy the game of basketball. During practice and on the court, Jacob uses teaching moments to point the players to Jesus Christ, through whom living water is made available to all who would choose to accept Him as their Lord and Savior. He and his wife, Marie, have 7 children — 4 are Wildcat players.
