About Nathan (2nd Year)

In this position, Magnuson serves as a member of the boys’ high school basketball teams and oversees the strength and conditioning program. His purpose is to teach proper exercise technique for musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, speed and agility training to improve athletic performance. Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise Science – ‘16) and Master of Science in Kinesiology (’18) from IUPUI. He was a 2012 Wildcat graduate and a key member of the program’s first Junior High (’07), Junior Varsity (’08) and Varsity (’11) state titles. He was also a part of the Cats’ first Midwest Regional title (‘09) and trips to the NCHBC National Elite 8 (’10 – ‘12). He is a member of the Wildcats 1,000 Point Club and currently holds records for career three-point (39.5%) and free throw percentage (81.0%) and previously set season records for three-point field goals, three-point percentage and free throw percentage.
