About Scot (5th Year)

Scot has been involved with coaching both boys and girls youth sports for 18 years. In those 18 years of coaching, he has coached basketball, baseball and football- baseball for 14 years at multiple levels. This is Scot’s 1st year as Girls Varsity Coach and 5th season with the Wildcats organization. Starting as a Boys Varsity Assistant then moving to being the head coach of the Girls Jr. Cats, Jr High and JV teams.  He is passionate about teaching fundamentals, repetition and building character.  He was an assistant on the Wildcats Boys Varsity National Championship team in 2018 and has compiled a Girl’s coaching record of 63-15 over the last three seasons. Scot grew up in NW Indiana where he went to Highland High School and played Varsity football, basketball and 4 years of Varsity golf.  After High School, Scot went on to get a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University.  Scot still enjoys playing golf, softball and basketball when he can, and loves hanging out with his family (especially on the court!). Scot, his wife and best friend Emily and family attend Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and have four children: Sam (in seminary), Jake (2019 National Championship team and now at Purdue), Sara and Catie (Wildcats).
